Mission

Mission is a huge part of who we are. We are a MATTHEW 25 church focused on fighting poverty and racism. In our local community we are heavily involved in our Food Center and we serve homeless meals two days a week. Internationally we support Missions in Malawi, Africa and have taken 3 mission trips there.

We are a Matthew 25 Church

We are part of the Presbyterian Mission to act boldly and compassionately to serve people who are hungry, oppressed, imprisoned or poor. We are working to end poverty and hunger in our community and to fight systemic racism.

    We care for the homeless in our community

    Collection food for Johnson County CROP

  • PRIDE

    We are big supporters of the LGBTQIA+ community

  • Volunteer

    Ringing the bell for Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign

  • Volunteering at Food Center

    We regularly volunteer at the Food Bank in town

  • Medical Missions

    We support the medical missions in northern Malawi providing treatment and care at several hospitals

  • Clean Water

    We donated for a clean water well in the village of Majuma

  • Africa Bags

    We support Africa Bags, a program that trains women to sew and helps lift them out of poverty

  • Kileni School

    We have funded the construction of several buildings for the Kileni school in Mzuzu

  • Chimame Child Care Center

    We funded the building of a Preschool in the village of Chimame

  • Children's Library

    We support Gift Dube and his children’s library at the University of Mzuzu
